Tres is a small village set on three hills and in the past it was the seat of a Roman garrison which guarded the road to the Valle dell´Adige. The new parish church of St. Agnese stands on the hill S. Rocco. The old church of St. Agnese (1300) is much more interesting and is situated on the hill opposite where in the past there was also a castle dominating the hill. In Gothic style, it has a sloping roof covered by wooden tiles and is enriched by precious frescoes by Baschenis.
Towards the North of the village you can get to an artificial basin. Called Lake Tres it was built in 1932 to irrigate the fields but now it is unused.
