Fruit and vegetable growing area, lying on a Quaternary terrace, positioned towards the sun, Romallo is made up of groups of houses in between gardens, spread over two levels: the lower part drawn around the wide town square and known as "Villa"; the raised part on a slope, and named "Colomel". The development of modern buildings concerns above all the north-east part of the town, along the main road, and is called "Villa Nuova". Above the village is a wide plain which slopes down to Cloz. The nearby summit, nicknamed "zinc", was a meeting place for the young people in the village to organize the event of the Trato Marzo in spring.
