Leaving behind the bridge at Mostizzolo over the Noce and following a rollercoaster road you pass over the valleys of the Pescara and Barnes streams which dominate Lake Santa Giustina stretched out below with its fjords. After Cagnò the road unwinds along the sunny banks of the Terza Sponda, Third Shore passing through picturesque villages and flourishing orchards, almost always in sight of the natural amphitheatre crowned by the peaks of the Brenta Dolomites to the south west. Here lies the village of Revò. It is the cultural center of the Terza Sponda, with an illustrious past and the discreet air of a rural village whose newer part has almost joined up with Romallo. The past importance of the village was due to its roads. As well as the Roman one, the road known as dei Regai came from Dermulo across the Novella basin, today covered by the hydro-electric reservoir of Lake Santa Giustina.
Well exposed to the south, the village is a real balcony over the lake and the Valle di Non. It has a climate which is mild enough to allow intense cultivation of vines considering its altitude. Today it is a market gardening and shopping center.
Epigraphs and other archaeological objects show that the village had Roman origins. It also boasts the oldest communal irrigation aqueduct in the valley; it was built in 1778, just after a drought, and is fed by the waters of the Pescara stream.

In spite of the developments of modern housing, Revò has kept the traditional character of its layout. The upper part of the village is called Colomel, with houses bunched together over passageways while the lower part is Frona and the mid area is known as Piazza and here stand the fine 16th and 17th century houses built in the particular style called Oltradige Atesino.
